The United Arab Emirates has initiated a nationwide campaign titled “Make it in the Emirates” to bolster the visibility and sales of domestically manufactured products. This initiative, led by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MOIAT), aims to enhance consumer confidence in UAE-made goods and support the growth of the local manufacturing sector.

The campaign brings together nine prominent retailers and e-commerce platforms: ADNOC Distribution, Noon, Tradeling, Grandiose, Talabat, Carrefour, Lulu, Union Coop, and Spinneys. These partners will feature UAE-made products prominently in stores and online, offering dedicated shelf space and digital storefronts throughout May. This collaboration underscores the UAE’s commitment to fostering a robust domestic industrial ecosystem.

Incentives for Local Manufacturers

To support local producers, the campaign offers a suite of incentives, including:

The campaign coincides with preparations for the “Make it in the Emirates” Forum 2025, scheduled to take place from May 19 to 22 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. This premier industrial platform will convene manufacturers, investors, and strategic partners to explore opportunities in AI-driven manufacturing, smart industrial transformation, and advanced manufacturing. The forum reflects the UAE’s strategic emphasis on industrial development as a cornerstone of economic growth and technological advancement.
