JinkoSolar Partners with Massachusetts to Advance Clean Energy Goals

Global solar giant JinkoSolar has announced a major expansion of its operations and partnerships in Massachusetts, giving a significant boost to the state’s clean energy targets.

The move includes a new supply agreement with regional utility providers and solar developers, aimed at accelerating the deployment of high-efficiency solar panels across residential, commercial, and municipal projects. The initiative supports Massachusetts’ goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, aligning with broader U.S. climate ambitions.

JinkoSolar’s involvement is expected to add hundreds of megawatts of clean energy capacity to the state’s grid over the next several years, while also creating jobs in solar installation, engineering, and logistics.

“Massachusetts is a leader in clean energy innovation, and we’re proud to contribute to its decarbonization mission,” said a JinkoSolar spokesperson.

With solar demand surging and federal incentives such as the Inflation Reduction Act fueling investment, the collaboration marks a key step in expanding renewable energy infrastructure in the Northeast—one of the most ambitious climate-focused regions in the U.S.
