Dubai’s skyline is set to welcome a spectacular new addition as Azizi Developments announces a $20 billion Milan-inspired master community. This ambitious project, revealed in April 2025, will transform over 15 million square meters of Dubai’s urban space into a luxurious residential, commercial, and lifestyle destination inspired by the elegance and sophistication of Milan, Italy.
A City Within a City
The mega project will be located along Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, strategically placed to serve as a new hub for both residents and tourists. According to Azizi, the development will include:
- Over 100 residential towers
- Luxury hotels and branded residences
- High-end retail boulevards
- Cultural and art centers inspired by Milanese design
- An artificial beach and massive lagoon system
With a focus on European-style urban planning, the community will emphasize walkability, public art, green spaces, and world-class amenities. 
From Concept to Reality
Azizi’s CEO, Farhad Azizi, described the project as “an architectural tribute to Milan’s timeless beauty and craftsmanship,” designed to blend classic Italian aesthetics with Dubai’s modern infrastructure. The goal: to create a “livable masterpiece that sets new global standards in urban development.”
The development will be built in phases over the next 10 years, with the first residential units expected to be delivered by 2028.
Sustainability and Smart Living
The Milan-inspired city will also integrate green building technologies, smart infrastructure, and sustainable mobility. Solar energy, waste management innovations, and EV-ready infrastructure are just a few of the features planned to align with Dubai’s broader environmental goals.
